We are so proud of April for graduating from Nursing school. We went to her graduation last night and really enjoyed the ceremony. Each graduate got to pre-record a message that was played while they were pinned. On Wednesday Jimmy got to spend the day with Sam! Jimmy picked me up from work, then we swung by and picked up Aranna and met the kids at Dillons for dinner. Even though Sam was only home for about 90 hours, it was worth every cent to get him here. 
Samuel just got back from Afghanistan last week and was chilling in Bethesda. I wanted to surprise Jimmy for his birthday with a trip back to the DC area to see Sam. Due to schedules both Sam's and ours, we wouldn't be able to get out there till summer. Sooooo- with the help of some friends and family, we pulled off a grand early birthday surprise for Jimmy. Sam flew in on Monday and Matt picked him up from the airport. Jimmy had fallen asleep and was awoken to Samuel walking into the bedroom! This pic was taken shortly after Sam got home. Both of these guys needed this!
As you may know, Jimmy and I were married in Sedona, almost 5 years ago. This year, we decided to go back for a weekend getaway commemorating my birthday. We had a most fabulous time. 
We went on a Pink Jeep tour and had a blast! Got some great shots of the red rocks.
We walked through the shops, even ate the same cake from the same bakery that was served at our wedding. Sedona is magical and we love it. I just hope we don't wait another 5 years to go back!
